Dr. Anita Krajnc (vegan) and the Animal Save Movement, Part 1 of 3

Today, we have the honor of meeting Dr. Krajnc, the Canadian co-founder of Toronto Pig Save (@torontopigsave) and the worldwide Animal Save Movement (@thesavemovement). Anita is a former political science professor at Queen’s University in the province of Ontario, Canada, who has studied how social movements move forward through public education. She is also a #vegan. We thank Dr. Anita Krajnc and her fellow animal advocates for their courage, and hope we can all work together to make the Earth a kinder and more beautiful place. Honestly - No, I don’t think everyone should spend as much time as I do bearing witness. I realize it takes a toll over time. I think for most people who come out - they join us once or a handful of times to see the victims & confront the reality of what we’re doing to our fellow Earthlings and that becomes the spark that ignites the flame in their future activism. There is no one size fits all and I realize I am in a privileged position which allows me to do what I do. I’m there week after week because there’s always someone new who needs that moment and I’ll try to hold the space for them.
