what’s better than a little old lady who adopts you and takes care of you?
what’s better than a grandson who will do anything for you (including reaching the top shelves)

soooo y'all know about this simi-hidden area in south Bree? Torthann's Camp? (near the outskirts of Ost Baranor. you only have one quest taking place there and it's an instance, so the only time you ever go there in the landscape is for the History of the Dunedain deed. took me forever to realize it was even there). it's a very cozy camp and I wish I remembered to visit it more often, poor Torthann could use the company considering there's no quests tied to his camp.
Anyway I always felt like there might've been some cut content there. Torthann says things that seem to indicate that you've done a quest for him that never happened?
(photo evidence Ft. Lothrandon just hangin' out)
at first I figured he might be talking about "Instance: Unravelling the Thread" because he's the ranger who accompanies you into the camp. Was the instance originally supposed to teleport you out here and you need to run back to Strider? but you don't really need to report anything to Strider because... he was right there for it.
the other reason I smell of cut content is
WHO HURT HIM?!!?! is he ok??? is he alright?????
he's not injured at the end of Unravelling the Thread, so how'd this happen???
also I can't help but notice that there's enough tents and bedrolls for up to 6 rangers here, but no one else in sight-
hmm! we're not thinking about the implications of that! surely has nothing to do with Amdir or the Nazgul I'm sure
