Her gift to her brother were a pair of brand new, black leather boots. The present was rather practical - since he ruined his previous ones with cutting them up. She also gave him a plate full of delicious cookies and sweets.

            Ah.  He  knew  she’d  bring  him  new  ones  after  the  mess  she  had  witnessed  him  do  with  his  previous  pair.  Still,  he  couldn’t  refuse  the  lovely  leather,  the  clasps  at  the  side,  &  as  he  tried  them  on  -  he  knew  he’d  never  grow  sick  of  the  comfort  of  a  fitting  pair  of  boots;  he  must  thank  his  precious  sister  later.  The  plate  was  browsed  at  leisure,  left  be  for  when  the  craving  struck  only.  His  sweet  tooth  had  long  since  dwindled  with  age.

She gave Letho a dark, wool cloak which will keep him warm on cold winter days. (Logic? Nahh. Getting too personal? Yay! Aadfgk)

The gift was accepted with a rather amused expression on Letho’s part. He squeezed the cloak in both hands, rough and calloused as they were, to feel its texture– it was warmer and thicker than anything Letho owed. Which, normally, wouldn’t have been a problem with the warm weather Letho was accustomed to, but as it were, winter had caught him in this miserable swamp up north and the nights did get rather chilly.

Having assessed the usefulness of Toruviel’s gifts in his mind, Letho offered her a smirk in return, and said, “Take it you want me to stick around all winter?”

What could she possibly give her? She dismissed the ideas of brutal weapons, jewellery, dresses and other useless stuffs, so Toruviel decided to make a crown for Saskia from forest plants and decorated it with rosehip - red looks good on blonde hair, after all. (bc it's not totally useless, y'know)

Saskia frowns at first, confused by the nature of the object placed in her hands and the purpose of this odd gesture. Slowly then, understanding sinks in, smoothing the ridge between her eyebrows and melting on her lips into a smile as soft as it is rare. “You made this?” she asks, turning the intricately-weaved crown on all sides. “For me?” 

Always strange how words seem to fail her whenever she is supposed to receive something, be it gifts or compliments or praise. Still, the smile doesn’t falter and Saskia puts the green and red crown on top of her head. Unsure how to express her gratitude, she simply reaches out with a hand to cup Toruviel’s cheek.

“If only all crowns felt so easy to wear,” Saskia whispers, tugging her closer.

Her gift of choice to her rhena was a book collection of elven poetry.

I’m gonna go ahead and compliment you while you’re here because why not! 

Anita and Toruviel have been around for as long as I can remember. One of the first blogs to interact with my Saskia waaay back in January when I had no idea what I was doing and I can’t believe it’s actually been nearly a whole year but here we are. Anita is a wonderful person in every possible way: talented, kind, beautiful, funny, very easy to talk to! It’s been so entertaining to see how Saskia and Toruviel went from bickering about everything to trusting each other (and becoming wives dsjkd) and of course I’m enjoying all the interactions between Toruviel and Letho as well. I always love reading all your threads and headcanons and everything you post and I’ll honestly follow you no matter what muse you pick up, even if I know nothing about them, because I know they’re in good hands with you. I appreciate and love both of you so much, thank you for being here with me and happy holidays!! ♥♥♥♥♥
