OKAY SO weird hour but I am ready!!!!! finally!!!! I will share the promo for my multi in a bit and start following people from there. Though heads up, I might not follow everyone back right now because I don’t want tumblr to flag me as a spam bot or something lmao so I’ll spread it out over tomorrow as well!
anyone else have this thing where the more you know about a muse in your head, the more difficult you find it to talk about them to other people or is it a me thing??
‘Zmey Gorynych’ by Viktor Vasnetsov.
In Slavic mythology, the word “zmey” are used to describe a dragon. These words are masculine forms of the Slavic word for “snake”, which are normally feminine (like Russian zmeya).
In Russia and Ukraine, a particular dragon-like creature, Zmey Gorynych (Russian: “Змей Горыныч” or Ukrainian: “Змій Горинич”), has three heads, is green, walks on two back paws, has small front paws, and spits fire. According to one bylina, Zmey Gorynych was the dragon killed by Dobrynya Nikitich.

If I tell you to shut up and your answer is “Make me” I WILL punch you in the teeth because I have no time for this pseudo sexual tension you’re imagining between us.
vibrates with excitment thinking about my multi and finally getting to talk about all my kids on the same blog without worrying about being too off topic
Would it truly be so outlandish to let Saskia be a dragon in her rdr2 verse too? I mean there are vampires and zombies and aliens and all sort of supernatural / sci fi things going on already. Is a dragon really that much of a big deal 🤔
True Dragons
“ One of the grandest mistakes common folk make regarding monsters is to assume that draconids are dragons. While the assumption is tempting, it is entirely untrue and has caused trouble for dragons and humanoids alike for centuries. Draconids may be tangentially related to dragons, but not all draconids are dragons. True Dragons — as many scholars and monster slayers refer to them — are exceedingly rare and extremely powerful creatures with an intellect far exceeding that of most draconids.
While not technically an elementa or a being of the elemental planes, true dragons are often thought of as representations of the forces of chaos themselves. Powerful, often unpredictable, and naturally bound to the forces of magic.
The immense power of True Dragons leads the people of Zerrikania to worship them and name their country after a legendary gold dragon: Zerrikanterment. However, in the western half of the Continent, the story is much different. In the Northern Kingdoms, the territories of Nilfgaard and the Skellige isles, True Dragons are often thought of as devilish monsters. Long ago, humans dubbed them “the single greatest threat to the human race.” In some regards they were correct. However, true dragons are sapient beings with largely the same range of emotions and personalities as humans and can be harmless or even benevolent in the right circumstances. “

But that’s not as funny :(
idk my dude. "I just wanted to cheer up this peasant and give them hope for a better tomorrow, but instead they overthrew the local nobles and now we've got to teach a bunch of peasants how to govern a kingdom"
is at least twice as funny as
"this person has sex" especially if your DM is uncomfortable with role playing seduction and such
“I roll to convince the dragon to support the overthrow to the monarchy,”
Look, our paladin TALKED a locked magic door into opening once.
