I drew some characters whose existence commented on gender (mine). (Poses more related to their lives than this subject matter)

Elmyar: ‘Most people hate me on sight, so I inflict myself on them. Tactically.’ Brégevic: ‘I have never had to worry about gender in my life.’ Disylgi: ‘My people have 18 gender options. I refused all of them.’ Esaci: ‘Any sense of gender I might have had, I forgot. Now I just avoid it all.’ Iyanda: ‘My school and my family are being incredibly supportive of me.’ Riss: ‘No dysphoria, but misgendering me is risking your life, good luck.’ Kehurie: an intersex character whose life was being consumed by the apocalypse. Omicron: first character to have medically transitioned in any sense. Quae: ‘My family didn’t reject me because of gender, but I still don’t fit anywhere.’ Torvrak: ‘Supply lines for my HRT and medicine are what’s keeping me alive.’ Peregrine: destroyed by the sexed expectations inherent in participating in their home community. Factor: cherished by their home community, still hiding their relationship. Faodros: ‘I visited a wizard and said ‘trans my gender’ soooooooo…’

Following on from the “Batman,” here’s Torvrak as Pilgrim, Kehurie as Lightbringer, and of course Zeiloby as the “Batman.” (The problem with existing superheroes is that a lot of them have genders in the name and only Zeiloby is willing to winkyface *play* with that.)

Plus their secret identities! Zeiloby-as-Bruce-Wayne is going for the kind of useless straight boy style that makes fashion journalists weep and say 'bro we're not judging business people by the standards of entertainment celebrities but you have money, MAKE AN EFFORT,' Kehurie Tanok is a. very professional and b. fully covered up, and Torvrak is absolutely refusing to dress in anything that's uncomfortable.

Anyway, I’m great at this @ comic book companies yes I’m hireable.

Tfw you pull through a risky fight, see powerful enemy reinforcements coming in, and realise you have to choose between defending your artillery and your sister’s squad.

Torvrak has gone alone to reinforce their sister’s squad, currently down to her and one other member, while the rest of their own head to the artillery.

In real life, hacking gear is very mundane. In the post-scarcity future of LANCER, however, I see no reason why incredibly cool custom rigs should not be available - especially to mech pilots such as Torvrak, already modified to be able to interface with machines.

However, I don’t believe that things would have changed such that hackers wouldn’t be doing it in their underwear.

Callsign PILGRIM, piloting APERTURE

This isn’t exactly a new character; this is Torvrak, who I played three years ago as an angry, frustrated, trapped Imperial Guardsman in Only War. They’re still frustrated, but I’ve remade them in a new universe; being a mech pilot in a mercenary company in the LANCER universe is better than being in the Imperium of Man, and this time their siblings are with them and they’ve got a quest.

They’re from the Astlak Fleet, which is technically a diasporan Sparri nomad state, but don’t call them Sparri more than once if you want to keep your fingers.
