After nearly two years in the making....happy birthday @a-lonely-dunadan ! I love making dolls and this was a long time of planning and trying many new things out. I learned how to knit just for this and it was the perfect project to learn for! Felt hair is also new for me too and I had a lot of fun planning out the pieces and putting them together. I'm very glad he's home now with you ready to have even more adventures!
Well it's midnight, and so it's officially @lotro-week Day 1! Today's prompts are: PCs | Outfits | Epic Quests
A two for one special for today! My two mains, Ethedis and Tossdir, in their game-accurate outfits. I have a nasty habit of designing canon outfits for them that don't correspond to in-game items, so I thought it would be fun to actually draw them as they appear in-game!
Firstly here's Ethedis in one of my (and her) favorite robes! [Corunir's Robes] of course <3 Plus the [Whimsical Mantle] so that she and Tossdir could be scarf buddies
Corunir: Hey has anyone seen my old robes?
Ethedis, in her new cozy oversized Ranger robes: :3
And next up we have Tossdir in the [Worn Ranger's Tunic] + set, and of course his iconic [Snow-Strider's Mantle]. The green highlights have kinda grown on me, I think I might draw him like this more often tbh
Look at him, doin the Classic Ranger Lean and everything. I bet he's got a sidequest for you. Wants you to slay 10 wolves or something.
Sho mentioned to me that because Tiril's job and calling in life is caring for young mothers and families, she would have hated to see Tossdir be left parentless at such a young age and made sure her house was always open to him and his brother. This became instantly canon in my mind <3
He got along great with her! Her chickens on the other hand...
