Grazie Er Pupone!

The word 'legend' does not do him justice. 👏🏼🔥
It’s a day we never wanted, it’s a day we all never thought of, it’s a day we all feared. But it has sadly arrived. It’s an emotional day for all of us who are football fans. It’s Totti day! The man we have all loved is going to retire from the beautiful game.
Totti. Where do I start? An absolute legend. One of the last true icons of the modern day game who refused lavish offers from big paying clubs like Real Madrid so that he could continue playing for his boyhood club Roma. A creative offensive playmaker, renowned for his vision, technical ability, and goalscoring, Totti is considered to be one of the greatest Italian players of all time, one of the most talented players of his generation, and also Roma’s greatest ever player.
Francesco Totti. My hero, my love, my life and of course my favourite player ever. Thank you Francesco for making me love this sport and moreover making me love the Italian national team. From watching you score the perfect penalty against Australia in the 2006 World Cup to spending hours watching your highlights. That incredible pass to Gilardino against Germany which led to a goal and for helping Italy win the World Cup. From being probably the best player for the Azzurri during the 2006 World Cup to being Rome’s greatest gladiator! I love how Totti is incredibly amazing with either feet. My favourite moment has to be the one when Totti scored that amazing left leg volley against Sampdoria! Loyalty is another thing we admire about Totti. Making his AS Roma debut on March 28th, 1993, he has stayed at the club to this day. 25 years, 786 games and 307 goals. March 28, 1993 to May 28, 2017 has been a revolutionary period in football history.
This is quite an emotional day in football history. I cried last night (really did) and cried right before the start of his last game. I really can’t take it. Someone whom I’ve admired for years is now gonna retire? Watching the farewell is giving me goosebumps. But at the end of the day Totti, I’d like to thank you for everything and I wanna wish you all the very best for whatever path you take up. Football will not be the same without Totti.
It’s truly been a legendary career for The Big Baby, The King of Rome and The Golden Boy.
WE ALL WILL MISS YOU TOTTI! 💙😘😭
#Totti ai compagni: "Ne ho viste tante, ma una cosa del genere mai" 👊👏 #TottiDay @francescototti @officialasroma
Quando ho smesso di trombare io, non avete fatto tutto questo casino.
There are only a few legends left In this game, Farewell to the King of Rome 👑
