Today's Cookies of Appreciation are for @lqtraintracks!
I consider her line "Let's rattle the glass, shall we, Potter?" the motto of Drarry fandom. Someday I'm going to get a shirt made, because any stranger I pass in public who recognizes the reference is someone I want to know!
To talk about LQT's writing, I have to talk math -- sexy, sexy math that describes edges and margins. Her playground and empire is a three-inch aura of personal space in which she spins intricate, magnetic depths of tension, the Mandelbrot Set of fic. She writes Zeno's Seduction, closing distances in a series of increasingly tighter halves. Whole galaxies form in the spaces between her characters, when one character leans in only to breathe against another's skin, and the other breaks a desperate sweat in response. It's spellbinding, and it completely floors me every damn time.
The words "formal poetry" are generally an efficient way to make people's eyes glaze over, but LQT insisted there was a place in the fandom for Drarry sonnets and villanelles, and she's the entire reason I tackled my first ever sestina. Her enthusiastic response to my Drarry iambic pentameter is why I have works posted on AO3 at all, and I appreciate her beyond words. For her talent, her generosity, and her kindness, these cookies with tea and inspiration potion are hers, with love and gratitude.

Swamp Ophelia I'm torn down, let your waters let me drown. Touch me, I'm so beautiful
I'm trying to hold it like rain in a river, everything is getting bigger.
