Ayy i tried out some chalk pastel for a shadowy look for this wonderful little beast, Geyst! (@toxicspeka 's Oc!)

The pastels didn't work out so well so im gonna try out charcoal

How do you go about your lineless work?

alright, tutorial time!

first, i make just a regular sketch

then i figure out my colors, and how they’ll look together

then i give it a contrasting background, so i can see where my colors are

then i take away the sketch,

and then i clean it up, and put in whatever actual colored lines i need

and that’s how i do my lineless work! i’m not sure if this is how everyone does it, or if i’ll keep doing it this way forever, but it’s what works for me right now! :D

TUTORIAL TIME WITH SHADOW

starting off w a circle like everyone else. we knew that step already

the next step is drawing a bean

BAMS its a bean. its a bean body. body bean. bean. smol adorable bean.

now what if... we add..... NOODLES

my pen pressure died but lets not focus on that but on what we just discovered in the proportions of our circle bean noodle creature 

somethings happening in the face and some stuff grew out of them noodles uh

as you can tell im not good with turorials

see those triangles? those are the BASE of the ears

yeah bitch put those pyramids on those foundations in correct perspective

if u wanna ask me how to quill and also quills in perspective - I have a video planned. as u can see my tabet is being a major bitch though so not now.

Since i move around so super quietly in my house that no one really knows when im in the room or close by, I occationally hum this super haunting tune ('Six's Theme' from Little Nightmares) and I've suscessful freaked out everyone about 12 times by now
