My love, @corvidstoneage, has a beloved stuffed lion (Lion A) they were given to help ward of nightmares when they were around 3. I'm sure you can tell which of these two lions he is. A couple years ago my partner's family found a second lion that looks exactly like what Lion A used to look like.

The idea was that Lion B would take over at night protecting my love from nightmares but his mane tickled my loves nose. So I came up with the perfect solution.

Now Lion A can have his very well deserved retirement and Lion B can start his new job.

Leonard has a cousin, Ramon. Ramon likes cooking, socialising, and having his mane floofed.

He has a very floofable mane.

my largest project from this week is a lion (Pattern by Projectarian).

Took about a week or so to complete, and was lots of fun!

Aslan the Lion

So glad to have Aslan healthy and home. Thanks so much. We're all delighted!! Aslan’s family wrote back in August:

In my time, he was called Aslan, but my younger daughter has recently rediscovered him and she may rename him. We'll see. He needs new eyes, new nose and some other rehabilitation. He had a batteryoperated piece inside him the growled when you hugged him, but it always scared me and I doubt it even works anymore. That part is not important to me.

We agreed a spa, mechanics removal, new eyes and nose were in order for Aslan.  Here he is on arrival at the hospital:

As you can see, he had some concerns....

We started, as many patients do, with a spa:

Then he was given a lionheart with a bit of his original stuffing.:-)

His eyes were brown, but his nose was a bit trickier, what size, what shape. Here are the options:

They went with the last black one.  Here’s Aslan stuffed and fluffed and ready to fly home:

They also included a photo of Aslan being hugged by the next generation.  That photo is up on the wall in the hospital to encourage future patients. :-)
