For people who already know the characters--no, Fernando's hair color is not an error. Fernando and Antonio tend to want to differentiate from each other, so he usually keeps his ocean blue hair color powers a regular black color.

🌓 frequently takes: short poppy astra videos

🌗 has: "a smile like ranvir's"

🌓 teacher's notes: friendly but distant. doesn't work well with others.

🌗 diego's notes: really bad indie band tastes, let alone s-pop. 🙄 infamous for being a guard dog, but i wonder what he's like? acts apolitical. doesn't let his hair become oceanic. those bunny hops on the astra are a TOTAL masking tactic. do not approach without his cute brother around!!!

additional casual commentary on fernando vs diego and s-pop under the cut:

i made alternate names for mid-'10's k-pop idol groups, but in reality since blue horizon is 2000's zeitgeist, fernando is actually boppin' to DBSK. wild stuff. (probably won't be obvious in canon blue horizon because i like my alternate names for mid-'10's k-pop stars.)

diego doesn't hate them because they're listening to mid-10's-style k-pop.

will just say it but diego and fernando BOTH like "velvet velveteen" no one worry. 👍🏾

on today's topic. contains spoilers for blue horizon.

probably obvious by now, but the reason why blue horizon material rarely broaches the topic below (in the summary + comics) aside from spoilers is because the story is more about the systemic issues resulting from the previous topics i brought up today.

BASICALLY the story is 99% about gender + sexuality and 1% any mention of mpreg (usually a mention regarding antonio's parents).

someone got worried, but there's no actual pregnancy imagery in book 1. antonio's cousins farrah and biju will discuss in later books though.
