i haven’t purchased running clothes in many years. i wear the same underarmour shorts that i got for my first year of cross country (when i was 15) almost every summer run (gross i know). i decided to try out track smith and i’m moderately pleased! my boyfriend thought it was so funny that it looked like i was a track team member he took my photo. “pose like a happy california girl!” he said.

i have been following a half marathon training program just for the sake of a schedule, but it’s been really gratifying to see consistent growth and progress. the longest run i’ve ever done is 8 miles, and i’m excited to go beyond that! i’m in week 4 now, and i’ve followed this training program before and fallen off the wagon. i’m excited for this round because i know i’m going to keep at it - i have nothing holding me back right now!
