Not feeling the oomph to put into a big project right now - instead, I'm making little things that make me smile. So here I give you butterfly moths. . I am trying to be patient with myself. I know I just need to feel what I feel, and deal with it in my own way. . I am very grateful to have a job that pays my bills if I am careful - I live a quiet little life, I don't spend money on expensive things - my studio at the Barn is probably my most lavish expense. My job also allows me to be in this creative space 2 days a week (sometimes the world gets in the way of this). My studio space allows me a place to make and potentially sell my work - online and in person. On occasion I get to speak with interesting people who visit the Barn in person. If you are interested in the Barn, but can't visit in person, check out the website - artisanbarn.org. . . Also, the chicken shawarma and falafel, on the grill cooking class I was going to teach this Sunday has been postponed. It seems irresponsible to bring people together for a cooking class when COVID numbers aren't great. But maybe in a couple months - if we can sit inside with out masks and I can run back and forth to the grill - we will try again. So, follow the Barn instagram account @dahmen_artisan_barn or check the Barn website - or both. More info coming soon. . . . . . . . . . #tracycreative #tracycreating #artisanbarn #studio #shawarma #cookingclass #butterfly #cotton #moth #madeitmyself #making #maker #makesomething #scraps #wings #smile #funk #summer #creative https://www.instagram.com/p/CT7V7mXlh21/?utm_medium=tumblr
