Going to let you all in on a little secret.
Maintenance people of any kind will not care how messy your house is unless it gets in their way.
I'm speaking as someone who has to do house inspections and I will not care how messy the house is unless it makes moving around difficult, then I will start caring.
Insatiable Soul
——————————————————————
Prerequisite: You must be of an evil alignment to choose this subclass.
Of all the Gods and Goddesses in Terra, you have chosen to follow Famine. The Horseman of Hunger, heralded by blistering heat and the pang of an empty stomach. It takes quite a bit to catch his ravenous eye without invoking his insatiable hunger. To walk the path of evil by his side. You must be quite special, in your own horrible way.
——————————————————————
Expanded Spell List
————————————-
The Insatiable Soul lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you.
1st — Tasha’s Hideous Laughter, Tasha’s Caustic Brew
2nd — Magic Mouth, Crown of Madness
3rd — Hunger of Hadar, Incite Greed
4th — Compulsion, Confusion
5th — Cloudkill, Bigby’s Hand
Endless Maw
———————————————
Starting at level 1, you magically gain an extra mouth on a body part of your choosing. (Ex, over an eye, on your torso, palm of your hand, etc). This mouth is always visible on your body, save for when it is covered by clothes, and must be fed at least 3 times a day. You will take 1d4 + your constitution modifier poison damage (regardless of any immunities or resistances to said damage type) for every hour past its regular mealtime. You will also be afflicted with the Poisoned condition, regardless of condition immunities you may have.
The voice that emanates from your extra mouth is your own, and cannot be changed outside of magical means.
When casting spells requiring verbal components, you choose which mouth is speaking. If your extra mouth is casting, you gain the following benefits:
• You have advantage on checks made to maintain concentration on spells.
• You may concentrate on more than one spell at a time, with a total max of 2.
• You may add your proficiency bonus when you roll to hit with a ranged spell attack. You may do this once per long or short rest.
• If you have 2 concentration spells active at once, you get to choose which spell is broken in the event of a failed concentration save. You do this directly after the DM declares your save has failed.
You may not cast ritual spells or cantrips using your extra mouth.
Biting Hunger
——————————————————————
By 6th level, you have much more precision control over your extra mouth. Whilst not casting, your mouth is capable of biting your enemies in an unarmed melee attack. This bite does 1d4 + your charisma modifier of piercing damage. These attacks count as magical only for the purpose of overcoming resistance to non-magical damage types.
Also at 6th level, the dice type for neglecting your extra mouth increases to 1d6 + your constitution modifier.
Ravenous Gift
————————————————————————
By 14th level, your extra mouth allows for a level of magical versatility yet unseen. You may negate the use of physical spell components (such as honeycomb or gold. Not verbal or somatic.) for one spell once per day given that your extra mouth has previously consumed said components within the last 24 hours. You may not use this for ritually casted spells or cantrips.
Also at 14th level, the dice type for neglecting your extra mouth goes up to 1d10 + your constitution modifier.
Anthony Bourdain imagined the audience for his 1999 essay “Don’t Eat Before Reading This,” about working in restaurant kitchens, would be insular and small. “I thought, I’m going to write something that will entertain other cooks, maybe I’ll get a hundred bucks, and my fry cook will find this funny,” he recalled nearly two decades later, during an appearance at The New Yorker Festival. When the article found its way into The New Yorker—after Bourdain’s mother suggested to a New York Times colleague, Esther Fein, that Fein’s husband, David Remnick, the magazine’s new editor, might want to take a look—“it transformed my life within two days,” Bourdain said.
“The voice he introduced in ‘Don’t Eat Before Reading This’ is not just brash and ballsy; it reverberates with style and poetry,” Hannah Goldfield writes, in a reflection about the essay in this week’s issue. Bourdain grips you from his tantalizing opening lines: “Good food, good eating, is all about blood and organs, cruelty and decay. It’s about sodium-loaded pork fat, stinky triple-cream cheeses, the tender thymus glands and distended livers of young animals. It’s about danger—risking the dark, bacterial forces of beef, chicken, cheese, and shellfish.” Revisit the piece that catapulted Bourdain to fame: https://newyorkermag.visitlink.me/jxf5cq
