you just gotta find an interpretation that's something he would do

for example. of course Mr Rogers would not have killed everyone else in the Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny. he'd have survived by not taking part in any of the fighting. (he would absolutely have gotten blood on his sweater desperately trying and failing to provide first aid to some of them though)

|1.| Small, personal headcanon about body image.

Vincent is very self-conscious and sometimes ashamed of his bare form. In his younger years, as well as young adult years, he didn’t have much of an opinion about his body--he took care of it enough to work sufficiently in his profession and to live healthily.

But after everything he endured, from Hojo’s work and Lucrecia’s, his body has been marked. His left arm, specifically, is clawed and has the greatest amount of purple/blue/black patches of skin, which seems like a mix of monster flesh and bruises, patched across his skin. The splotching of discoloration expands further, over his shoulder, over his chest a bit, and over his ribs and back, and some over his hips and thighs.

There isn’t much more than the discoloration, apart from a few unhealed scars or marks (from the splicing of genes of beings into him as well as battle scars), like his gunshot wound, as well as the location where the protomateria is set in his chest (which is like a red, raised dent in his chest, thanks to Rosa), and a few other scars from his early transformations.

This is a great deal why he wears clothing covering his entire body, as well as the gauntlet on his forearm and hand, as if it shields or masks his deformity. 

He is reluctant to let anyone see him bare and exposed, feels shame and will usually avoid someone’s gaze if he’s forced to be exposed. He is hard to accept reassurances about his form, but if reasoned with, with the right person and right methods, he might come to accept his form as his own more than he’s allowed himself in a very long time.

|2.| Headcanon/fanon developed solely for my version of Reno. Wrote it a while back, been meaning to share more publicly than just throwing it in my bio but had to read through for most typos hopefully got them all.

But, HERE you are~ My personally developed history for my Reno, a monster of a lil project that I only intended to be as long as my Vincent History file, which was around 9 pages. This one? 46. I’m sorry, but not sorry XD this bastard just took my over and made me write this monster. Added a little extra tragedy for the red boy, to build up who and what he became, so, please enjoy and if it doesn’t appeal to you, feel free to ignore~

This generally applies to my interpretation of my Reno, however, so unless otherwise stated in roleplays that you do not wish for it to apply for whatever reason, then it will by default.

Do any of your muses have good singing voices?

~~~Hello, and thank you for this question! Yes, I'm answering this way cause I realize that, unless the anon is spicy enough to need to be under a cut, this probably makes more sense so you Nonny's can be notified of my response!

Now!

So, I'll start by saying this. None of them have bad singing voices, but most of them aren't passionate singers either, and only one of them has had any level of training, and another was simply self taught and did it only in rare company. And as an addition, I really don't know enough about singing and such to know what type they would be, so my description is a little limited/is without more fitting terms, I apologize!

Aurelia: Very unlikely to sing freely, the most she ever did was hum tunes, if she was ever inclined. At times it may have been comforting, or a way to block out unbearable silence. But that's not a way she's ever expressed herself, or been driven to, and she's unlikely to sing. So she has an average voice.

Kadaj: Rather similar to Aurelia, not likely to be much of a singer, ya know, and not one to be very inspired to sing at that. The most he may have done, was sing under his breath while thinking, plotting, or working, and that's only occasionally. And it would be nonsense to most, as it's flickers of things he heard from memories in the Lifestream. His voice would be sort of soft, but hold a sort of boyish attitude sound to it if he really put any power behind it. Still, average as well, and not one to sing much.

Reno: Reno isn't bad at all, really. He just likes to sing obnoxiously, and/or usually to bug someone. So he certainly usually SOUNDS horrible because he sings loud and off key. Any other singing is either him being flirty or competitive during karaoke, or just singing to himself when he gets a song stuck in his head. Not a very deep voice but not soft either, and is the type of voice to have fortunate and unfortunate voice cracks and shakes that add or take away from his singing.

Vincent: His mother and grandmother casually sang often at home. His grandmother moreso, but she adored his mothers sweet voice and encouraged her to sing, which eventually led to them both teaching Vincent for a while. It wasn't a great interest of his, but it was time with his mother and grandmother and they seemed very pleased listening to his sweet little voice, so he's probably one of the best/most trained voices. A reasonably deep voice, as well as raspy, when he sings now. But he doesn't sing anymore, apart from humming when someone needs the comfort, or unless someone who happens to have a direct like to his weak spot of emotions can convince him to.

Sephiroth: He was self trained, and so his singing capabilities are imperfect, but honestly, that gives his vocals a lot of their power and appeal in sound. It started with fooling around with his fellow SOLDIERs and became a habit on their few prolonged days of down time where they'd stay with one another. Whether it was competition, or just goofing off. He might be inclined to casual singing nowadays. His voice is very deep, a voice you could feel in your chest, and has the ability to be soothing and enchanting, as well as chilling and haunting.

|1.| Reno and Rude totally banged.

Generally, in whatever verse I play, or how I see their interactions in general, it is within my conceptual belief that, at some point in time, whether only a few times or continuously, Reno and Rude tended to have a mutual partners with benefits thing going on. Reno invited it, Rude initiated, Reno kept it going. Though depending on their relationships, this factor of their relationship may not endure.

But it is a part of their relationship, their history, and their friendship. Reno never has, and never will, regret it. Rude is his partner, and nothing will change that. Besides, he had one hell of a time--that shady fucker is a bomb in bed.
