Great evening for a run after the daytime highs got into the 70s. It was probably in the 60s by the time the #trailsandales run took off from @caboosebrewing but the conditions were magnificent and it was so nice to not need a headlamp! My legs were still toasted from racing yesterday but this was a really nice recovery run. Nice evening for a #longrun. I did a little jog with @finnmcshane earlier in the day so all I needed for double digits was a 9-miler. Ran 5 miles from the house then joined the #trailsandales group at @caboosetavern. Despite the humid conditions there was a breeze that really helped keep things comfortable. It's been a while since I made a #trailsandales run at @caboosebrewing but the schedule set up perfectly for it tonight, and so did the weather! Definitely enjoying the brief respite from winter. Today was a recovery day but I felt surprisingly good after a #longrun yesterday. Tonight's 4 miles ended up being a #progressionrun with me cruising in at 7:35/mile at the end. Afterwards I tried the new double IPA on tap, The Line Between.
