Nightmare Before Christmas Pokémon Trainer Classes
Jack Skellington: Champion/Coordinator
As the Pumpkin King and the leader of Halloween town, its only natural that he would be Champion if he was a Pokémon trainer. But I can also see him being a talented Coordinator too, as he is shown to be a talented performer. I can see him being both, since it is possible to be both.
Sally: Breeder/Elite Four
Sally was harder to figure out. My first thought would be a breeder since I can imagine being good taking care of Pokémon, since she seems to be good at tending to Finklestein when she isn't poisoning him to escape, but she also seems to be able to take care of Jack as she made him food during his experiments. But due to her relationship with Jack and her role in the film, I can see her being an Elite Four, specializing in Fairy, Psychic, or even Ghost-types.
Oogie Boogie: Evil Team Boss/Rival
There's no doubt he would be the boss of an evil team and I can also see him being Jack's primary rival, constantly trying to take the championship title from Jack.
Lock, Shock, and Barrel: Evil Team Grunts/Admins
Due to being Oogie's henchmen, these guys would obviously part for his evil team. I went with grunts first since they seem to be his only henchmen, but I can also see them being admins since he seems to be able to control bugs and snakes, and seems to have other monsters serving him in the 'Oogie's revenge' videogame.
As the leader of Christmas, there is no doubt he would be a Pokémon Champion of his own world.
Dr. Finklestein: Professor/Scientist
I can see either being a Pokémon Professor or just a regular scientist as he is Halloween Town's resident mad scientist. As for what he would specializing, probably Pokémon genetics or the creation of artificially made Pokémon.
The Mayor: Gym Leader/Elite Four
Due to small screentime, I had a harder time figuring his place out. After much thought, I can see him being either a Gym Leader or Elite Four member, most likely specializing in Dark-Types. I decided this because he is the mayor, a position of authority and respect, but is still not as powerful or influential as Jack.
