My Personal Experience
Try to imagine I young man around the age of 19, he has just finished his first year of college and has put on some weight. He has never weighed this much in his whole life in fact he had never been over 200 pounds before. Well this man was me at the end of my freshman year. After finishing football in the fall I started to let my weight slip away from me by not paying any attention to what I was eating or drinking. Before I knew it I was up to 215 pounds and had lost what speed and strength I had left but I didn’t realize this until the first week of summer break when my sister commented and said that she had never seen me this big and asked if something was wrong. I was shocked, I had always been slim and toned until know. I went from 180 to 215 in one year of college. At this point I knew that I had to change what I was doing fast or the upcoming football season was going to be very tough and I could possible loss my spot. So I called up my trainer Mike Herman from Train Hard Train Smart and told him my situation. Without hesitation he said he could help me and to come in to do a workout session with him so he could judge what needed to be done. Needless to say what he saw was not very good, so he put me on this intense diet, which I was skeptical about at first but by the end I couldn’t have been happier with my results. Alongside this diet I weight trained and ran three times a week sometimes more. I came into that next football season back down to 185 pounds and had regained my speed and strength. Train Hard Train Smart helped to turn my whole situation around for the better and set me back on track the right way. I can’t thank Mike Herman enough for his help to get me back to normal.
