  dear friends and followers,

i am about to do something that has frightened me for a while now. it has given me anxiety attacks and has made me want to crawl in a hole to die, but i'm going to do it anyway. i feel like i'm ready, like i'm brave enough.

i am asking you all to call me by my chosen name and more suitable pronouns.

my full name will be Ayden James * but you may call me either Ayden or AJ; it's up to you. if i become more comfortable with one over the other, i will let you know.

pronouns are going to be a bit tricky since i despise them all with a fiery passion, but i recognize that they are a complication i must endure. please, no she/her. i have become disconnected with those pronouns despite how used to them i am. i would prefer he/him or they/them (or even none at all compared to she/her). again, this is up to you and yet again, i will let you know if i come to a more permanent decision regarding my preference.

there's only one more thing i can feel comfortable asking of you all. if any of you know and/or talk to my family (or anyone from my hometown) besides my father, then please use my given name and pronouns or i will be in for a world of pain. my mother has known for over a year, but chooses to ignore it and my extended family has no idea.

if anyone has any questions at all, then feel free to ask. please think it through if you have any doubts about whether it's offensive.**
