NIGHTRUNNERS SPOILERS
When I finished Stalking Darkness I wasn't super sure about the choice of Thero surviving the events that transpired at the end. But now that I'm on to Traitors' Moon, it is such a delight to see Thero grow from the experience and actively working on bettering himself and becoming a better team member to Alec and Seregil. Thero's character development has been very nice to watch.
"Who are you?" he tried to ask, only somehow the words came out "Who am I?" instead.
"You are the wanderer who carries his home in his heart," the unseen speaker replied, sounding pleased with the question. "You are the bird who makes its nest on the waves. You will father a child of no woman."
A deathly chill rolled over him. "A curse?"
"A blessing."

Seregil: *introducing Alec* This is my ex-boyfriend, Alec
Alec: I told you to stop calling me that!
Alec: I'm his husband.

“If I’ve learned anything among the Tír, it’s the value of being underestimated.” “Some might interpret that as a lack of honor.” “It’s better to lack the semblance of honor but possess it than to possess the semblance and lack the honor.”
“You always have a choice. Don't ever imagine you don't. Whatever you do, it's a decision and you have to accept responsibility for it. That's when honor becomes more than empty words.”
I attempted to draw a Seregil. Idk if it worked or.. not. Lol
"Oh, I survived. Brilliant. I love it when I do that."
