Admin’s Notes: One thing that always falls short when it comes to trans!bangtan fics is when the characters are never really ‘human’, as in there’s a multidimensional aspect in them. Having said that, I adored that this fic brought out the human characterisation of the characters. I liked that the characters experienced more than what the fandom has stereotyped about trans people, and that the fact that they are trans does not change or separate them from being normal human beings. I adored that, I loved that, that representation, that correct representation. It was a breath of fresh air, and though I am cis (though gender has never been an active subject in my head so tbh I don’t care wtf people call me) and I cannot speak on behalf of trans people. But I do understand the importance and dynamics of characterisation, and for this fic, it definitely held that up to bar with what I want. The only remotely negative thing I can say is I wished it was longer. I would’ve loved to see their relationship unfold, and the questions around Jimin’s closeted life unravels.
