The Justice League doesn't know why Green Arrow and Batman have been having private meetings these past few days and spending hours locked up together.

And if someone tries to spy by listening through the door, they don't understand anything, but it sounds like they're discussing something very important.

Meanwhile, Batman and Green Arrow are going crazy; their sons' baby shower is coming up soon and they're running out of gift options.

When the Queens find out that Roy is dating Jason, they assume that the relationship won't last long or that it's just a casual fling.

Then, a year passes.

Then five years later.

Roy has a baby with Jason and Lian becomes a big sister.

Ten years passes.

They adopted children.

Lian graduates and goes to university.

Her siblings also go to university.

They retire and move to California.

Jason wants to talk to Roy about something important, so he sends him a "We need to talk."

Roy, starting to panic because he thinks Jason wants to break up with him, disguises his desperation with the joke, "You can't leave me. I'm pregnant," to buy time and avoid the conversation.

And it would all have remained a joke if it weren't for two unimportant things:

Roy is a trans man.

Roy has just realized that he has certain symptoms very similar to when he was pregnant with Lian.

Now both are waiting for the results of the three pregnancy tests that Jason bought (in a panic).

I like how we all assume that if Jason and Roy were to get married, they wouldn't tell anyone... So, some thoughts on that:

They married as a cover for an undercover mission and before having a romantic relationship. They simply forgot (or chose not to) divorce for the tax benefits.

They would keep their surnames, although Jason might use the surname Harper for identification purposes so he could return to his studies.

Jason is listed as an emergency contact if Lian's school is unable to reach Roy.

If Roy gets pregnant or they decide to adopt children, they would have both surnames in alphabetical order (Harper-Todd).

Jason didn't tell anyone about the bats, but Roy did tell the arrows. They just assumed he was joking, and it became a running joke when Jason and Roy started dating.

Nobody knew they were married until one of them finished in the hospital and only the husband (and Lian) was given priority for visits.

They have wedding rings; Roy made Jason's and Jason made Roy's. They don't wear them on their hands; they have them on a chain and wear them as necklaces.

Although they may not seem like it, they get all sentimental on anniversaries.

The big difference in how Jason and Roy hold their baby is noticeable.

For Jason, this is his first baby; she looks so small in his hands. He's extremely careful when he holds her, trying to be as gentle and tactful as possible.

But Roy already went through that stage of extreme care when he had Lian, being his second baby he knows perfectly well how to carry her. So he's going to carry her baby with one arm while using the other arm to do something else.

JayRoy, but Roy is the one who's pregnant.

It's just one of those cases where the couple shares symptoms with the pregnant person.

Once they confirm that Roy is pregnant, they wait a little longer to announce the news to their families, so they try to remain discreet.

Or rather, they try, if it weren't for Jason starting to experience pregnancy symptoms. He knew of cases where people experience their partners' pregnancy symptoms. He's nauseous, has back pain, gets tired more easily, and is being much more emotionally explosive. The Batfam is worried (and paranoid) because all the tests they've done on Jason have come back negative and he refuses to talk about what's wrong with him... So far, the strongest theories are that it's some new undetectable drug or a magical phenomenon.

On the other hand, Roy can cope with pregnancy symptoms more calmly because he already knows what they are like. While Arrowfam is suspicious, it wasn't because of his symptoms, his radiant hair, or his more playful attitude... It was because Roy didn't order fish fingers (or any other type of fish dish) at the restaurant.

Roy feels strange during his second pregnancy.

During his first pregnancy (Lian), his life was not the most stable; he didn't find out about his pregnancy until several months later, and he felt a lot of guilt because he didn't take good care of himself during the first trimester. He didn't have much of a support network, he was still fighting with Ollie, he lost contact with many of his Titan friends, and he didn't manage to contact Jade until Lian turned one year old. He had to ask Dinah for help; there were complications during childbirth, and he felt alone and very scared because they wouldn't let Dinah in with him since they weren't related.

Now the situation is different; he's been sober for several years, he's more stable, he's reconciled with Ollie, and he has more family, plus he has Jason to help him through the pregnancy and Lian can draw little faces on his tummy. But... He feels a little overwhelmed by so much attention and being taken care of too much.

Okay, Roy understands he's pregnant and has certain limitations now, but with the experience of his first pregnancy he could keep up the pace of being a vigilant until six months, so... What is this overprotectiveness? Why are Ollie and Bruce so worried? Why did they both agree that he should rest after only three months? Why is Dinah on their side? Why does Jason agree!?
