Fic: How to Tame a Cryptid

Summary: A retail store that mysteriously rearranges itself overnight? A mischievous rat that is set and determined to uproot the status quo? Rumors of a cryptid haunting their work place? As a retail employee, Hizashi had liked to think that he'd seen it all, but as of late, his days were being filled with increasingly absurd encounters that he frankly could not make up if he tried. At least it made good material for his podcast, right?

This isn’t an erasermic hc, so hopefully it’s okay, but I do not see enough love for trans Tsuyu in the fandom and I cannot stand by this injustice! So yeah, I hc her as trans, and also because of her frog biology, her body transitioned on its own when she joined 1-A as a result of the lack of girls in the class’s population. Before she realized it was happening she was just suddenly so fucking hungry since her body needed energy to do it and when she realized it it was like OH!!!!

So like what I love about this is that when Hori was creating Tsuyu, she was originally a male, then he saw said lack of girls and changed her very very last minute, so I see it as like legit cannon and I love it. I also love the idea of her frog biology tying into it and making it a thing that she did naturally! That’s such a cool idea - and HONGRY child being fed by dadzashi because he recognizes she’s going through some major changes and needs the extra energy is such a cute idea that I want him to take up a baking class just to teach 1A how to make more than just cakes and whatnot, but actual foods and uses it as a cover for helping Tsuyu get the extra food she needs without making a big deal out of it.
