Summary:
While Merlin and Gwaine attempt to win a bet against Arthur by trying monogamy for a week, Elyan looks to someone new to take the edge off. Elyan finds Lancelot’s unending nobility rather off-putting, but he’s pretty sure he can corrupt him.
The fact that Lancelot is secretly a chaotic dumpster-fire of a human being with a penchant for well-intentioned treason is a source of dramatic irony that’s fun for all--erm, most--ages.
Featuring casual sex, some fun-poking at monogamy, and two storage closets used for two (different) illicit purposes.

Anon asked: 29 (”You’re a really bad liar”) for Mordred
Mordred sat in the armoury, pretending to sharpen his sword as he waited for the last few chattering knights to leave. The shutting of the door made him look up, expecting to be alone, but Elyan was standing there watching him.
Mordred smiled briefly in acknowledgement then returned to his sword, hoping Elyan would leave quickly too so he could get out of his armour. The short knight usually did after training, only dropping his sword off at the armoury before going to his room still in his chainmail. Unfortunately, this time it seemed he had other plans.
“Are you all right?”
Mordred flinched. He didn’t think he’d been that obvious.
Tomorrow they were to ride out to aid a Druid encampment that recently had been attacked by Morgana’s forces, in what Mordred hoped was more than a symbolic gesture of allyship. The witch had begun to treat magic users who did not join her cause just as harshly as those who oppressed them and Mordred did not know what made him feel worse: that someone who he had once looked to for safety and comfort had become so ruthless, or that he was now counted among the number of their oppressors.
The camp was not one Mordred had spent time with, but he had been shunted between enough of them in his life to know that the whispers and mutters and naked distrust that followed him were more than a coincidence.
“Fine,” he replied, as indifferently as he could manage.
He could hear a smile in Elyan’s voice. “You know, you’re a really bad liar,” he said gently.
Fear made his heart thud. “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” he said coldly, standing up abruptly and causing his sword to fall to the ground with a clatter.
Elyan held his hands up in surrender. “Ok ok, I’m sorry. I won’t say anything more. But I just want you to know, if you need someone to talk to, I’m here. I get it.”
Mordred frowned. “Get what?”
“Mordred.” Elyan still had that gentle smile curling his mouth. “You never get changed in the armoury, or when there’s anyone around.” Mordred’s hand went automatically to the triskelion tattoo on his chest, then dropped back to his side just as quickly. “And like today, when Leon asked about how you learned to fight, you always get distant and change the subject when anything from your past comes up. I don’t know, maybe I’m barking up the wrong tree. But I can’t help wondering if…”
Mordred backed away, heart pounding, but there was nowhere to run –
“You’re like me.”
Mordred stopped. Blinked. Stared. “What?” He couldn’t be. Surely. Not a… Knight of Camelot. Right. “You’re…” He couldn’t even say the word aloud. Even now, Druid was a dangerous word in Camelot.
There were tears shining in Elyan’s eyes. “Yes. I’ve known most of my life.”
Mordred huffed a bewildered laugh. “Well, I’m not surprised.” When you were born a Druid, surrounded by Druids, it did not take that long to know that you were, well, a Druid. A wild hope leapt within him. “Who… who else knows?”
He shrugged. “Gwen, of course. Leon too. Percival. Gwaine.”
The hope deflated a little. “Not Arthur?”
Elyan averted his gaze. “I would like to think he’d be okay with it. There’s no specific law…” Not any more, Mordred’s mind filled in. “But I don’t know. It can seem a little too like sorcery - a curse, that sort of nonsense - for me to bank my life here on.”
Mordred nodded. “Yes.” Though perhaps he’d be doomed anyway, with the magic that rolled and boiled in his heart like a crashing wave, waiting to be unleashed. He too liked to think the King would come around, but he wasn’t sure how long he was meant to wait. Emrys seemed to have been waiting a long time already.
Elyan smiled a little too brightly at him. “So I just want you to know, you’re not alone. I know what it feels like to have to hide who you are, for your very existence to feel dangerous…”
Mordred opened his mouth to speak, but instead found himself flinging his arms around Elyan.
He was the only one he would feel comfortable enough to do that with. The other knights might sling an arm around his shoulders in a show of comradeship, but only Elyan properly hugged him. No one else had ever hugged him like that, not since Morgana; like a friend, a brother, an equal. Not even Arthur, though Mordred was told the king was more affectionate with him than with most.
Elyan’s hand ruffled his hair and Mordred giggled, dizzy with the revelation. “I thought I was the only one,” he whispered into his shoulder.
Elyan laughed, just as giddy. “So did I.”
Mordred laughed too with a freedom he had not felt since he had run away from the first camp he’d lived in. Elyan’s easy acceptance made such a change from Emrys’s hostility, the Druids’ unease, to living a lie with the rest of his new friends. Then, a mind-boggling thought occurred to him.
“Wait, does this mean the Queen is a Druid too?”
Elyan froze, then he took hold of Mordred’s shoulders and pushed him far away enough that he could look at him, brow creased in confusion but not hostility.
“Wait, what?”
I feel like when Elyan came out as trans to Tom, Tom tried his hardest to make him feel accepted. He wasn’t too familiar with the topic, but he loves Elyan so he made an effort, thunderstand?
He was like, okay.. not sure what that is, but I love you! Just don’t get do anything bad.
But that’s just my opinion
In which Elyan’s gender euphoria causes unforeseen problems
Based on this post and this moderately shitty drawing i did :')
“Are. You. Kidding. Me.”
Here’s the thing. Gwen was generally very supportive of her brother’s right to wear what he wanted. And it made a wonderful change to how he used to be, refusing to leave the house unless he was wearing at least three layers of his baggiest clothes, and sometimes not even then, he was so uncomfortable.
So when he’d finally returned after visiting the Druids and getting into four years of all sorts of unrelated trouble and his chest was finally how he wanted it to be she supposed she couldn’t blame him for indulging in the round table tradition of incredibly low cut shirts. And now she was confronted with it, Gwen couldn’t believe they hadn’t seen this flaw in the plan coming.

Summary:
After Gwen is banished from Camelot, both Merlin and Elyan struggle to remember what’s keeping them there. The longer they strain under split loyalties--Merlin between his people and his destiny, Elyan between his duty and his debts, and both between Guinevere and their king--the more tempting it becomes to join her in exile. A warning from Kilgharrah, a gag order from Arthur, and the discovery of an enchantment on Gwen’s bracelet lead to their departure from Camelot, a re-interpretation of Merlin’s destiny, and what could be the beginning of a brighter future for all of Albion. After all, there’s more than one way to make someone queen.
