I saw a tiny trans kid just existing today on a school trip to campus and I just want to cry. Like we are getting killed at incredibly high rates and pushed out for existing but this kid was visibly existing and complaining about how expensive a latte is.

It's even harder because I'm not necessarily out here because it's terrifying telling people who control whether or not I eat that I'm trans.

This kid was visibly wearing a binder and a name tag that was generically trans masc and it just got to me

you know what really angers me about people insisting you have to have dysphoria to be trans?

is that this stance is insisting you have to pay for your identity to be valid.
