Yo, fellow trans peeps listen to me right now, steel your resolve. We are about to enter a time where there will be a lot of pressure to detransition, you may think it’s easier to just detransition. Do not do that. You have always been trans and you always will be, government officials signing pieces of paper will not change that. I’m not saying it won’t be difficult, I came out as trans at the beginning of his first term, but what I am saying is it will be more worth it to stay true to yourself and stay alive than it will be to detransition or leave us. I love you, we get through this together. Also, an important reminder that transitioning doesn’t just mean physically transitioning, even if all the doors are shut on physical transition, that isn’t the end. Stay strong and stay alive 🖤

Would everyone please gimme music reccs that fall under Riot Grrrl, gender go brrrrrr, folk punk (preferably not by men), in general I’m a fan of not male singers, women who go apeshit, yearning, unhinged folk, feral country, country by women or yearning and please no auto tune, folk tunes that make you wanna start a revolution, folk tunes that make you wanna take up pottery and pine for the girl who works at the general shop down the corner that you have a lil pot for the pens next to the register, Miku, women who kill their husbands, songs with gendered terms that my fellow enbies/non binary folx find make th not mind those terms in that situation, songs with gender neutral pronouns, cryptidcore, and anything else you think is pretty cool.

We are in transition (ha!) between directors and are rebuilding what we want the choir to look like. We explore trans voice through training, singing, and words, as well as ungendering the various voice parts and changing lyrics to be inclusive. We collectively choose what to sing and whether and where to perform. We often sing for local centers for the elderly, the LGBTQ community, or youth experiencing homelessness.

Hey folks, so my friend posted this on FB today, I’m going help them out as much as I can; but if anyone is willing to also pitch in that would be amazing! Thanks.

“Hi brand new here. I’m a non-binary trans femme from NC. I am so terrible at asking for help so this is really difficult for me to even admit that.

I’m in need of a little over $4200 by the end of the month but I’ll gladly receive any amount I can get. This is for tuition, next month’s rent, gas, textbooks, a campus parking pass (which I would pass on but if I get one more ticket I can’t park anywhere on campus for a year), groceries, and a few miscellaneous bills.

I recently bought a car with my parent’s help because my old one died and I live in a rural area where you need your own transportation. That cleaned me out and I currently have $72 in my checking account. I am trying my hardest not to ask them for anymore financial assistance because it always comes with very demanding and harmful strings attached and I’d rather not get sucked back into that again.

My graduate assistantship hours started back this week but I won’t get paid until the end of September. I need this money so I won’t lose my home and get kicked out of school. Please help me if you can.”
