I just realized that if I apply my horns-tell-the-gender rules to Trollhunters and Wings of Fire, then: Jim would be canonically trans, as well as the fact that he was headcanonically trans before and is pretty much agreed upon in the fandom that he is, but I'm not applying it to Scales of Night because it would be kind of evil of Tanis if you think about it. Vendel would be trans. Sunny from wings of fire would be trans. As well as Moonwatcher. (Blinky wouldn't, actually, and it's because of the second set of horns. If the horned being has a second set of horns or antlers, then it doesn't matter whether or not the main horns are curved)

I can’t take good pics of the moon ever, but basically the sky is pink and blue and the moon is full and white and basically, she trans 🌻🌻

Trans Moon?

Lunar, inside her head, randomly assures Moon that she’s very pretty while she’s feeling especially dysphoric and upset with her body not matching her gender. Luna did very assuring, saying he wouldn’t mind sharing the body even if she changes the body, Lunar has absolutely no cares in the world about what he looks like, he only cares if Moon feels comfortable.

So Moon transitions herself and Lunar just absolutely pours love to her, telling her she looks so pretty in her new dress and her new modifications look wonderful on her. Sun comes in to Moon showing Lunar her new dress just post modification and picks her up and squeezes her to give her assurance of his acceptance.
