I almost had the chance to meet Troy Baker last weekend. And its weird because he's voiced so many characters. But Rhys from fucking Tales from the Borderlands is still one of my treasured characters. He is the reason I cant let Borderlands go, because Rhack is a ship that has ruined me (made me?) Who I am today and I remember all of our little discussions about the potential of Rhys being a Siren and trans!Rhys and all our aus and our pining and RHYS. Why do I love you so?

So the thought of almost meeting Troy Baker at a convention to get his silly autograph just because he voiced Rhys... Brought him all back into my head.

Now I want to replay Tales from the Borderlands... And one day make my Rhys cosplay. Because Rhys is so 'gender' to me and one of my squishy blorbos.

I'm hella struggling w gender identity ATM bc I'm a huge idiot, and I'm imagining Rhys coming out as trans to Jack, or Jack finding out or sth, and consoling Rhys. Just mm.

ngl i always want to write more with trans rhys but i get intimidated wondering if i’ll accidentally do something wrong. but i think this would be cute. i think rhys would be scared and expect jack to react negatively, kind of shield and steel himself but jack is just more curious and wants to understand what is even going on rather than being angry.
