I don't know of you remember but a few months back I posted some Trans Thran HCs that were well received.
Again, a mix of Modern AU and ME settings.
° Finding the perfect binder was difficult because even with all the help out there on the internet he didn't really know what he was looking for.
° No one tells him how much paper work is involved when it comes to legally changing a name and sometimes companies ignore your letter. Even after years of being known as Thranduil he would still get letters with his old name on them.
° It got to a point that, even before surgery, that he had been known as Thranduil for so long that when he sees his old name it doesn't spark recognition for a good 5 minutes.
° Family members still find it difficult to remember the name change but he finds it easy to forgive them when they fix the mistake instantly and stop apologising for it.
° There are times he wonders if he isn't trans enough. There are still things that he enjoys that some would say are feminine and because of that there are days he feels like a fraud.
° Elrond has to be the one to remind him that he needs to ensure he has his T shots regularly, administering such a thing still gives him trouble so the dark haired elf often does it for him.
° Royals from other kingdoms still refer to him as the Queen in letters and it infuriates him.
° He feels as though he cries less now but Elrond mentions that he may actually be depressed.
° There are still moments where he agonises over cutting his hair.
° The immense hunger drives him wild. He constantly feels on the verge or starvation. At night he stands in the kitchen shoving bread into his mouth to sate the constant rumbling in his stomach.
° The staff to the royal household are still confused as how to act around him.
° Cheese makes him feel positively ill.
° The testosterone levels have his sex drive miles higher than before but it causes more anxiety when he realises he isn't ready to share his body this way. He still feels incomplete.
