Text Laws + Author’s Note: Hello. While I have given anthropomorphic traits to the elements here, they are not fully human, and I am not m
I wrote a cool story that is chemistry related. It is entirely the Periodic Table of Elements. Specifically the “Planet Elements”/the Actinides and Transactinides. If you like those elements, I think you’ll like this story!
This story is 14,004 words excluding titles and the authors note, and includes lots of dialogue and interactions between elements, whose personalities are inspired by their properties among other things. There’s some mild worldbuilding, but mostly the true appearance of everything is left to the imagination. If this interests you, maybe click the link!
I’m bad at summaries, I’ll see if I can write one later. If you read and/or finish the story, please reblog this or send me an ask telling me how you felt! I’d really appreciate it. I’d love to see what Tumblr thinks of my story, considering it’s my first real one.
If you haven’t heard it today, I love you!
hello, food autism cannibalism enthusiast here!
The main things you should be paying attention are 1) diet and 2) muscle activity, since the taste of the meat is usually determined by the disctribution of fat and muscle tissue in the cut + the sources of the fat.
Varied diet creates a more gamey/distinctive taste (since there will be a lot of different sources for fat, which affects its composition. For this reason, farm animals have a more uniform and less gamey taste, they are raised with a more restricted diet).
High muscle activity usually results in more bland meat (since fat is more flavourfull that muscles). A higher muscle density will also make the meat tougher, while more fat results in a more tender meat.
Of course, which specific cut of the meat is used is equally as important, but the info i gave should work as a guide when comparing two different people!
Which meat flavour profile is considered "better" is very much a matter of taste and current culinary "fashion", but i hope this helps people make their decisions in the polls.
Thank you for your input.

HiMERU hated the church as soon as he stepped foot in it. Not only had his younger brother been stuck there for months, the bastard Amagi HiMERU had decided to travel with, would not shut up about trying to marry Shiina. And Kazehaya, on top of all of that, indulged in their shenanigans! Amagi’s whining was almost unbearable but it’s not as if HiMERU could just leave now. He had found his brother, his sole purpose in wandering the wasteland around them, and what sort of brother would he be if he just up and left over something like that?
way too funny that those two posts were directly next to each other. to me (ignore that this screenshot has 5 pixels total sorry)
