You know what we don't talk about enough?

How the way that transandroterfs use the term "male socialization" is exactly the same as the way that terfs use it. There's all this rumble about how the goals are ostensibly different, and people arguing over whether they really are, but not enough establishing that the underlying premise is exactly the same - these people think that trans women have an original sin (that you can detect through their biology) that makes them psychologically exempt from the experiences of transmascs and cis women. More pointedly, they think that the way that trans women were raised means our voices matter less than theirs, they might just differ on how many issues they matter less in.

A couple years ago, a friend commented on my ex and I being polyamorous with the idea that male socialization encourages people to take on as many partners as possibly. I was silently miffed at that, but there's a case to be made that what she said was less offensive than what the average tumblr user is talking about when they use that phrase.

I'm losing it, theres currently a transandrophobia tmra type blog that's on surface "trans positive" posting you know. the usual crypto "soft" transmisogyny denial etc etc.

but they also have a VERY OBVIOUS alt account where they are openly a detranser radfem posting not only the vilest transmisogyny but also stock standard transphobia.

But they keep their original blog around to post more transmisogyny & harassment campaigns against transfems in the transandrophobia tag, i assume to recruit more transmascs to be twerves.
