"I don't think I can boymode anymore" - a comic I made in celebration of 8 months on HRT today
āIād rather ask my cat than ChatGPTā cross stitch pattern š¾šš
Fuck AI! Iām proud to say Iāve never used ChatGPT and simply never will. Iād trust a silly fluffy kitty for life advice over a dumb ai robot any day of the week. :3
AI slop āartā is trash and has no place in the textiles/fiber arts community, or any creative space. We only support and uplift human artists here. <3

Another reel-ified comic, featuring @minamothart again as Gal Famous!
Original comic post:
For the record, Iām not really sure if the maintenance team in my office building checks for stuff like loose toilet seats, but it was driving me crazy so I took matters into my incredibly capable, *experienced* hands.
This feels like the first comic Iāve made thatās actually like, a ācomicā comic, as opposed to what these strips have been so far: mostly just stories through my first twenty two months of transitioning, or general concepts that I wanted to express my feelings on.
Like, this story is rooted in a real event, sure, but bringing in Jack and Gal Famous for this makes the strip feel like⦠a ācomicā comic, whatever that means.
Ok, so⦠āGal Famousāā¦
She wasnāt named in her initial appearance, but this was tentatively her name at that point already, and Iād like to credit Fran Sundblad for it.Ā
When writing that strip, I sent the draft to Fran to ask her opinion.Ā The character was initially listed in the draft as āGuyā.Ā Fran said that she was going āto refer to him as āGuy Famousā from now onā.
I really liked that name, and once the character became a lady she was āGal Famousā to me.
ā¦also I really like drawing her, sheās a fun draw.
Will we see a ton of Jack and Gal Famous moving forward?Ā Not sure!Ā My guess is that strips will still often include little vignettes about stuff that happens to me, but when they can be utilized, Iād like to get them involved.
Theyāre kind of new territory for me, Iām not really a character writer⦠or like, a āwriterā writerā¦
ā¦whatever that means.
ive been loooving marvel rivals lately and I adore Squirrel Girl's design in it.
