It's been a few weeks since I posted a Plastic Robots comic on a weekday, hasn't it? The ones you see posted on the weekends are actually old comics I originally posted to the Bird App ages ago (going as far back as 2018). I've had this Tumblr account since 2013, but I lost interest in its upkeep in 2014 and didn't start posting again until late 2022 out of fear that Mr Muskrat would start demanding money just to use the (former) Bird App he now owns.
The main reason for a lack of new comics is because I got myself a new phone recently (Galaxy S24+, for those curious), and it is incompatible with my preferred photo editing app that I've used on multiple smartphones since 2016. I know things like Photoshop & Clip Studio Paint exist, but I prefer this old app because of it's dead simple user interface, and I'm not the most tech-savvy individual despite being from the generation that made being tech-savvy the thing that all the cool kids do. Also, I'd rather drink dirty toilet water before I pay a subscription for PS & CSP! What the hell happened to buying a program or app one time and then it's yours forever until they make a new version 4-5 years down the road? So that's where my creativity has been these last few weeks.
