Genuine question for the transformers fandom.
Was there ever an established Cybertronian word for a romantic partner who wasn’t sparkbonded to the other??
I know we have Conjunx and Spark-mate but those are like the equivalent of husband/wife/spouse and implies you have irreversibly sparkbonded for life. It’s a bit of an extreme word to use for the person you only just started dating…
And Amica is an entirely different thing, so that’s not it.
I swear I once heard ‘Amanti’ or ‘Amante’ used somewhere and that’s what I’ve been using in my head but I’m wondering if some of the more devout transformers fans can bestow their wisdom upon me on this matter.
