Old Transformers Games You Can Still Play!

Following up on my Transformers Flash Games post here, I thought I'd go through the Internet Archive and pull up all the currently available Transformers games! :)

Some of these can be played in browser, while others may require DOSBox or other virtual machine to run-- I still don't know how to make old software work on modern shit, otherwise I would be messing around in Windows 3.1 right now LOL, but if you know how to do that, have fun!!! :)

In chronological order, and games in bold can be played in browser:

There are almost certainly a few I've missed, as sometimes searching the Internet Archive can be tricky depending on how things have been tagged etc., but when I have the chance to do a deeper dive I'll update this post! :)

Guys, I got some bad news about one of the Transformers themed mobile games... Transformers : Tactical Arena is no longer available for downloads in App Store and Google Play!

I got these announcements today. I'm devastated by this. I found this game in 2025, got all characters and was expecting new ones! And here I get this today.

On 9th November 2026 Transformers Tactical Arena no longer be playable so if anyone got this game and possess their accounts - DO NOT DELETE THEM!

Play the games and screenshot all your favourite characters! Write down their lines. If you're an artist draw their emotes, banner as a reminder, people.

I know some people may call this game a Clash Royale copy but I love Transformers Tactical Arena game!

DO NOT LET THIS GAME BE FORGOTTEN!!!

I found it funny that Bumblebee from the first Transformers Earth Wars trailer has already fallen without damage taken

Fun fact: Bumblebee is the first Autobot and Cybertronian from the Earth Wars game trailer to fall in battle, ably losing balance and falling on his back. Silly Bumblebee XD

PROJECT: RESTORE TRANSFORMERS ONLINE (2017)

Yes, folks, it's happening. The thing noone but me asked for. Alternatively: With the help of my amazing boyfriend @the-mcintosh we (read: him, his team and me as moral support) are trying to put the game back online! Once (or if, but let's be hopeful here) we manage to do it, we'll hopefully make the game widely avaible for the Transformers community yet again. And with the horrid lack of any transformers games lately (especially after the tradgedy that was Reactivate…) hopefully this can put us in high spirits!

Now, onto the technical side:

(Special thanks to the person from discord who after seeing an earlier message I sent DM'd me and gave us more game files, which turned out to be basically the finished product. I swear my bf was drooling through the screen when I sent them over)

Progress is going steady, especially today it picked up quite a lot once we've managed to get the files of the game's latest version, when up until now we were working with older alpha builds. The managed to get into the game's source code, which basicallu opened up the flood gates. It's amazing I'm making this as basically an introduction and will promptly give up the mantle of update making to my bf, who insisted on making his first post after he manages to get into the game's main menu. Right now, it "does not wanna FUCKING ACCEPT MY FUCKING BITCH ASS FUCKING DLL" Anyways, to finish: Here's some screenshots of the progress made. Hopefully this exites at least someone out there!
