this is all really good but "chaser" (minus the t slur obviously) does actually get used to refer to ppl who exhibit the same behavior towards trans men (esp. since many chasers target both groups)

also, saying some experience is exclusive to X neurodivergence and that people with Y neurodivergence can't "claim" it (as if saying "i literally experience this real thing" is "claiming" a term) is putting way too much faith in the psychological establishment's current demarcation of neurodivergences as distinct disorders. like, among the stuff you've already pointed out, claiming that special interests are autism-specific falsely canonizes that exclusivity as fact (i'm autistic fwiw)

isn't it kinda the point of the way mettaton is written that you learn a lot about his gender experiences w/o a prescribed interpretation? like, the only canon details about mtt's gender are that he doesn't have an agab and that he prefers he/him pronouns and presents fem. really seems like his gender experience was written to be non-pigeonhole-able. i headcanon that he's a trans man at the time and later a trans woman after a while on the surface, but like, everyone should have fun w/ it
