In light of the recent popularity of my 1940 bank subway map, here is another slightly older c1938 bank subway map, this time courtesy of the New York Savings Bank with a lovely illustrated cover. The inside contains some detail about the length and ridership of the three systems and on how to determine the location of an address based on which avenue it is on. Notable is the still under construction Sixth Avenue Line between 59th Street and West 4th Street.

Last year I was fortunate enough to work on a wayfinding pilot for WMATA, the Washington DC Metro. They were looking at ways to make their signs and maps more user-friendly. My NY-NJ Transit Diagram is finally done! This is the first in a series of slight edits of this map showing service at different times. This one is Weekday Service including Rush Hour Service.

I made this a pretty long while ago as the city didn't have a schematic, easily readable map for its quite extensive bus network. These images are just a few select areas, the entire map in good resolution is also existent as PDF and SVG files on my computer.

Ein Liniennetz für die Stadt Wuppertal. Ja, die mit der Schwebebahn!
Ich habe dieses Liniennetz schon vor einer ganzen Weile in mehreren Wochen Arbeit fertiggestellt, da die Stadt Wuppertal kein schematisches, gut lesbares Netz für ihr doch recht weitreichendes Busnetz online einzusehen hatte. Diese Bilder sind nur einige Ausschnitte, die komplette Netzkarte in guter Auflösung befindet sich als PDF und SVG auf meinem Computer.
