One thing that might help if you have vocal dysphoria is to look up voice control techniques and drills actors use and practice with them. Once you have a certain degree of control it's pretty easy to make your voice sound how you want it to.

This is good advice, and I’m glad to hear that it’s fairly easy. I’ll post this so anyone else who is interested in this discussion can benefit.

I am personally pretty okay with my voice as is. Not even hrt would fix the problem I actually have with it. Maybe I should look into primal scream therapy lol.

1 coffee ($3) will get you one of the following:

One 3-card reading with two follow-up 1-card answers.

Three yes or no questions on my pendulum with possible two follow-up questions.

2 coffees ($6) will get you one of the following:

A 6-card reading on a relationship (friendship/romantic/etc) and barriers in it.

A significant life event reading involving (typically) 7 cards, though sometimes more for context.

Any in-depth reading using 5-10 cards.

A combination 3-card reading with two follow up questions, as well as 3 yes-or-no related questions.

3 coffees ($9) will get you:

An in-depth relationship reading starting from the same spread as before, but allowing up to 15 cards.

Any in-depth reading using more than 10 cards.

Im planning to get top surgery and to legally change my name- do you have any advice on which i should do first?

Hey there,

I have no advice on which to do first but getting top may help you change your name.

While top surgery or changing your gender marker are not required to change your name, a judge may approve a name change more quickly if they see you are transitioning. They could still do this if you weren’t, but it may be easier. 

Other than that the order is totally up to you! Think about what you need more urgently, as both take some time to accomplish, or you can start both processes whenever. It can be nice to have your name changed when you go through the process so there is no accidentally dead naming you, though my surgeon and office were really great about this, not everyone is so lucky. 

I got top surgery first because I am unsure about a name change. There is no right order

In serious need of binder - holiday gift?

Hey, I really hate to do this, especially as tumblr is going down the drain, but it’s Christmas time, I just moved back in w unsupportive family, I’m broke and I lost my binder before I moved.

I’m in desperate need of a new binder to help alleviate my dysphoria. If I feel more comfortable in my body I’ll also be able to function better when I get a job and will be overall at least a bit happier in this situation.

If somebody could gift me a GC2B full tank binder, I’d honestly cry. I would ask for donations or some such thing to buy it but I have no bank account and no PayPal to save money on, so it needs to be a full bought gift. Luckily gc2b has a gift option on its website! I won’t be getting anything fancy, one of their full tank binders in purple, $35 and shipping.

If somebody could do this for me, I would be so so grateful I can’t even express it. It would be an amazing Christmas gift if somebody could spare it. If you can’t afford to, a signal boost would be amazingly appreciated.
