Oh this is probably a bit confused for non Irish people lol. I’m assuming ur confused about the TY part, yes?

TY or Ty for the lazy me stands for Transition Year, the school year between the junior and senior cycles in secondary schools in Ireland ^^ it’s meant to be a break from academic crazy education and more for experiences. You can do workshops, work experience or in my schools case the Transition Year Musical! It’s a musical that we’ll be putting on in the theatre in town with our respective all boy school counterpart (í go to an all girls school). Ty is probably the highlight of the Irish education system and is quite unique to us! Fun fact: actors cillian Murphy and Paul mescal found their passion for acting through transition year!

I’m really excited for the musical and I hope I get in. Pretty much our whole year is itching to know what musical we’re doing!

For my TY thesus I'm weighting a book and a idea I'm looking at has the characters mabey settled in Dublin and I ended up thinking what if I wright it like the "woman wrighten by a man" but it's a fucking "dubliner wrighten by a wicklower" that's just the funny shit Ive thought off

My mother is blackmailing me into being productive and preparing for TY. She’s not going to pay the deposit on our TY trip until I start a notebook full of plans for TY and getting my work experience sorted.
