I'd be so much happier if I had a binder, because I can't just snap my fingers and my chest is gone.

I'm so nervous about asking my mom about it, my family supports, and they aren't gender-phobic. But it just makes me so nervous, because if I just say "Can you get me a chest binder?" My mom is going to be like.. "Why?" and I either lie, saying it's for sports but then she'll be like "You don't need it" (And/or) "You don't have a big chest." but if I don't lie and say "I'm non-binary (with explanation and stuff)" she's going to be like: "Why?" or "What's wrong with being a girl?"

I mean, for Halloween, I can dress up as a male character, but October is NINE months away, time moves fast, but 9 months isn't going to feel like a week has passed.
