Brilliant new idea from the transit geniuses in California: a 140 MPH bus with dedicated stations and lanes that would require extensive infrastructure work to function. Here's an idea: you build a steel guideway of sorts and put steel wheels on the bus to minimise rolling resistance. Put an electrified wire over the guideway so the bus doesn't have to carry batteries or fuel, thereby saving weight. Because it's on a guideway you could string a bunch of them together to increase capacity without needing more drivers! Hell you might even be able to fully automate the system! What's that? A "train" you say? Sorry man i don't know what that is i work for Caltrans
babies first zine <3 about gay yearning and riding the bus <3
i love america so much. there's no pedestrian exit from the arcade when the mall is closed. i got here by train but it's not running anymore so im getting a lyft. getting to the pickup point involves exiting the arcade through the underground parking lot so i can circle around the surface parking lot until there's an entrance, then crossing the surface lot to get to the store-side curb. the parking lot has a named street running through it btw. god bless america 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸 [sound of ten cars honking]
