It’s  the  way  Andrea’s  eyebrow  raises  because  she  already  knew  she  wasn’t  going  to  get  an  answer  in  reply.    There’s  always  something  about  banter  with  Shane  that’s  simply  entertaining.    Her  head  turns,   looking  down  at  the  can  of  peanuts  they  also  found.   Or,   quite  a  few.   She  grabs  a  couple,   throws  them  in  her  mouth.    Puts  the  cap  back  on  before  her  blue  eyes  flick  back  up  to  the  road. 

Andrea  nods  --  not  that  Shane  can  see  that  answer  to  her  question,   but  her  other  hand  is  already  reaching  for  the  binoculars.    She  brings  them  up  to  look,   glances  around  the  road  ahead.   It  already  feels  like  a  hotspot.   4  cars,  two  run  off  the  road,   one  in  the  middle.    They  may  actually  have  to  move  that  one.    Andrea  frowns.    She  doesn’t  seem  much  movement  --  wait   ...

One  lone  walker,   foot  so  twisted  it  was  walking  on  the  side  of  the  foot.   Something  just  doesn’t  feel  right.   Not  with  the  way  the  Walker  was  perched  in  one  location,   head  twitching  around  --  like  it’s  waiting  for  something.   Smells  something.   She  pulls  the  binoculars  away,   hands  them  to  Shane.    “   What  do  you  think?   ”

I think we should ring the bell and see what happens, if anything. then, decide if its worth lugging through the castle, for safety

Before you try touching the bell, you decide to give it a good whack with your spear first.

You get directly under the bell and stab upwards, producing a loud and resonant tone. It sounds oddly final, like it’s announcing the end of something you can’t quite put a name to.

Just as you strike the bell, the fog suddenly swells, coating the bridge in a thick haze you can barely see through.

It feels hard to breathe, you like are being suffocated by the cloud. It feels like your strength it being drained, but somewhere in the magic you can feel a faint glow pulling you in.
