TRAs: It's the way my brain is neurologically arranged that makes me my gender. It's how I just naturally gravitate toward these gendered things that makes me my gender. It's the metaphysical vibrations of my gendered soul, my immutable and innate, indescribable Gender Essence that makes me my gender.
Radfems: That's sexist. Gender is a system of social control based on sex. You can dress, act, and think however you want regardless of sex. Gender roles are not innate. Escaping the system that tells you your life must align with either gender role is good.
TRAs: OMG shut up you're literally such a Gender Essentialist!
TRAs Saying a males should be allowed in women’s spaces because they may off themselves’ if we don’t let them in. Has zero impact on me.
I feel nothing. I don’t care.
Like too bad so sad. You don’t get to blackmail women into doing what you want.
What next? Don’t split up with your boyfriend if he says he will off himself? Same thing.
TRA copy pasted my entire post and sent it to me via DMs captioning it with nonsensical stuff at the end like?? I know what I said & you just came here to show me you have 0 arguments at all?
btw the TRA is referencing this post for context
i never understood why radfem/gencrit women who are fans of shows with nonbinary characters (used to) have TRAs show up in their inbox using that as a gotcha because... that's fiction? which you can cherrypick characters from? that shapeshifter or magic-casting humanoid or whatever you can come up with has nothing to do with reality and are already breaking physical rules anyway, so of course they don't have to be male or female. meanwhile we focus on what's actually happening (or can't happen) in the world we live in which doesn't include fantastical beings. how do you think you're so smart for conflating these two things like they exist on the same timeline? and yet we're also the ones who are supposed to believe fiction doesn't affect reality?
and they wonder why people think they're fucked in the head
sure! encourage taking hormones at a young age! it's not like children go through phases, and change their mind about things constantly. no, encourage the tomboy girls that they're actually boys and encourage the feminine men into thinking they're actually girls instead. that won't lead to any regrets down the road
I'm going to try to keep my blog a bit more diverse and fluid in terms of certain topics. Like, I don't want my page to just be full of thinkpieces about TRAs and gender/transgender ideology, but I just thought of something.
As a Black girl, who is rad leaning, I find it funny how we're always weaponized and used to further push certain transgender agendas and ideologies.
Especially because we too are actual females who go through sex based oppression, racism, and misogynoir. And I just want to show you how transsexuals/transgender people sound to me by looking at them through a racial lens.
"Transracial Black people are REAL Black people. "
"In fact, they're the realest Black people, the most oppressed Black people, even. Cis Black people are just born into it. They're nepo Black people, essentially."
"Transracial Black people have earned their Blackhood, I mean like I said.. cis Black people are just born into it. Transracial Black people have to get the tans, the perms, they have to study the ebonics and patois etc. What do Cis Black people do except think them being of African descent is soooo magical and special?"
"And yes, we deconstruct racial stereotypes and social constructs. There's no one way to be black. Huh? Then why do we alter our bodies? Because it affirms our identity! And even though we all get very particular cosmetic procedures to affirm that particular identity, we totally don't think that that's what defines our identity. We just do it because... because... because!!"
"TREA (transracial exclusionary activists) are so bigoted. They really think being perceived as Black and actually having a Black identity they can't opt out of makes them more oppressed than us. Unbelievable, lynch a TREA! What? No, that's not a call to violence that shows our racism and privilege is still intact, shut up!"
And you can't even say this is a stretch, because race is 10x more malleable and fluid than sex and the genders that are quite literally tired to sex, lol.
But yeah, just wanted to say that. Stop bringing up Black women and females to defend TIMs, we're female too, and some of us are also rad leaning.
