TRAs: It's the way my brain is neurologically arranged that makes me my gender. It's how I just naturally gravitate toward these gendered things that makes me my gender. It's the metaphysical vibrations of my gendered soul, my immutable and innate, indescribable Gender Essence that makes me my gender.
Radfems: That's sexist. Gender is a system of social control based on sex. You can dress, act, and think however you want regardless of sex. Gender roles are not innate. Escaping the system that tells you your life must align with either gender role is good.
TRAs: OMG shut up you're literally such a Gender Essentialist!
these people cannot be serious. like. this is satire right. right???
TRAs Saying a males should be allowed in women’s spaces because they may off themselves’ if we don’t let them in. Has zero impact on me.
I feel nothing. I don’t care.
Like too bad so sad. You don’t get to blackmail women into doing what you want.
What next? Don’t split up with your boyfriend if he says he will off himself? Same thing.
TRA copy pasted my entire post and sent it to me via DMs captioning it with nonsensical stuff at the end like?? I know what I said & you just came here to show me you have 0 arguments at all?
btw the TRA is referencing this post for context
i never understood why radfem/gencrit women who are fans of shows with nonbinary characters (used to) have TRAs show up in their inbox using that as a gotcha because... that's fiction? which you can cherrypick characters from? that shapeshifter or magic-casting humanoid or whatever you can come up with has nothing to do with reality and are already breaking physical rules anyway, so of course they don't have to be male or female. meanwhile we focus on what's actually happening (or can't happen) in the world we live in which doesn't include fantastical beings. how do you think you're so smart for conflating these two things like they exist on the same timeline? and yet we're also the ones who are supposed to believe fiction doesn't affect reality?
Call it what it is: male toxicity
