It's just so penis-centered. They can't just focus on the fact that lesbian sex features two women; they fixate on the fact that there is a phallic object present. Why does it matter? Is it equally fair to compare a woman masturbating by penetrating herself to having sex with a man?

I can see where @diana-lostandfound is coming from, but this post is just so ignorant and distasteful. I'm a separatist while also not really looking to date anyone in the first place; am I also bad for denying women my body? I feel like, as bisexuals, we can't do anything right. Everything will be criticized. I've already seen people holding the opinion that even being a "febfem" isn't as morally right as just being a lesbian, because "you're just using women to escape men". You can date exclusively women and be granted a little golden star, but the fact that you're still attracted to men will always overshadow your entire personality. Because some of you genuinely do see women as a man's accessory, or some extension of him.

Genuinely, who is asking lesbians for approval to date men? Who is asking y'all to go "hell yeah" at a heterosexual relationship? Is everything so black-and-white? As much as I don't like the term "queer" in general, bisexual women are queer. They're bisexual. Even in a heterosexual relationship, the woman is still bisexual. It doesn't make the relationship queer, but it doesn't make the woman straight either. Just as being in a homosexual relationship doesn't make a bisexual woman lesbian, she's still bisexual. Being mistaken as straight by a random on the street isn't biphobia, no one's saying it is. And if someone does say that's the case, they're just wrong.
