People really want to get hung up on the distinction between nature and nurture, but as long as the result/effect is the same and largely consistent, it won't matter whether nature or nurture produces male violence statistics & views of women--men as a group are functionally misogynistic and dangerous. I agree, it's not worth it to ask whether it really isn't just nurture/socialization--it's way more helpful to just decenter men altogether.

Yes but let's not be fucking dense as to the real targets of misogyny - women.

By insisting we divert focus away from the way that women are affected from misogny we are slowly erasing and mitigating the harm it causes and quite frankly makes misogny seem like this little club that only certain people are invited into.

This is my perspective on all of this tme/tma bullshit. Misogyny is not this club that only certain people have access to. It effects all female people. Now that includes trans people, hear me out I know this may be touchy for some radfems. Trans men are affected by misogny, abortion bans and lack of studies on the female body are indicative.

Trans women can also be victims of misogny, all be it in different ways, it is based on them being perceived as women.

Transphobia is not misogyny. It should not be classed as stuff. Transphobia focused towards trans men and trans women is different but this is not due to "trans misogyny" this is just based on the different negative stereotpyes attributed to either.
