oh and lets not even touch on that you have to complete *1000* trainer battles to get the shiny charm. fucking 1000. 1000 goddamn battles.

thos game is so ass. there are parts that are fun but my god, its the absolute antithesis to pla. its the equivalent of nintendo danggling shiny keys in our face going 'look look ooh ahh pretty shiny!' and people are going to act like its the best thing since sliced bread just because it did 'real time battle' despite its absolute shit play

okay hang on i need to tell you all about Trash Game. which is something i did back when my mental health was worse and i was bad at cleaning my room. you look around and find a plastic grocery bag, and start filling it with trash. any kind as much as you can you don’t even have to move. when it’s full you tie it off and odds are you will have laid eyes on another. fill that one. you repeat this until either you are out of bags or the trash is all contained and then you take them out. if you run out of plastic bags odds are you have them somewhere else and by now you’ve remembered that throwing away trash is quick and easy and is basically instantly rewarding, so maybe you go get more and maybe you don’t but either way you win bc there’s way less trash than there was. your score is the number of full bags.

#‘victor this is just the concept of cleaning’ yes #but it’s a method that maybe doesn’t even require you to get up from your chair #and then you get an almost instantly much tidier desk/bed/dresser etc #and floor #and boom. you win #trash game #straight up if your room is a disaster putting all the laundry in a basket and the trash in a trash can will in my experience improve things #by up to 55%

pls go find out if my game is hot trash its for a friends only gamejam it doesnt need to be GOOD it just has to be done i dont care if its entertaining anymore just see if its like, not spawning lizards in the kings pajamas or something pls

Decided to share some of the songs I’ve made for Trash Game. This one is the generic random-encounter song used in most instances that aren’t boss battles or special circumstances. I figured since it would play a lot, it had better be a real good song. So I spent extra time on it and now I’m pretty happy with it.
