WORLD IS A DEAD FUCK - BORN TO DIE 1984. (I am corkscrew man.)
Scully's mother died in the X-Files episode Home Again that first aired on February 8, 2016. It was Sheila Larkin's first appearance back since the episode Provenance that aired in 2002. She was the last of the parents who raised Mulder and Scully to die on the show. The episode was written by Glen Morgan whose last episode he penned was Never Again that first aired in 1997. Morgan also penned the episode that saw the death of Scully's father (Beyond the Sea 1994). Thematically, some consider it part of an emotional trilogy for Scully made up of Home, Never Again, and Home Again. The episode marked the first time Charles Scully was heard. It was also said that this was the first time Scully called Mulder Fox since Tooms (1994). ("Home Again", X-Files, TV Event)
Obsessed with this Norwegian children's book series called Tales of Estragon (Estragons Historier) written by Gaute Heivoll and illustrated by John Kenn Mortensen. It's written and told from the perspective of a rat navigating human society, and thematically tackles the seven deadly sins.
Yesteryear and the year before that, the Zoo of Kristiansand had a Halloween pop-up event set in the book's universe, and I wish I was there to see it!
This character's name is Glambek. He shows up in the first book and he despises rats more than anything on earth. He is the absolute worst, the grossest human alive, and I LOVE HIS CHARACTER
If I were in the same universe as Estragon, I'd be a housefly
Translation for dialogue in second panel: "THIEF! SCOUNDREL! RAT!"
