Gachiakuta EP1 things I FUCKING LOVED

• When Rudo escapes the trash facility the music lyrics are "a goat can't stay a sheep" Like damn if that isn't the most perfect thing for Rudo. He's not a sheep like the people of the sphere. he is, however, the G.O.A.T.

• When Rudo is talking about his hands it has the Geiger counter sound effect

• when he falls into the pit it looks like a hand is reaching for him (could it be 👀)

• how the apostles eyes look red when arresting him they're terrifying

• it HOLDS NO PUNCHES. YES

• JUST ALL OF THE MUSICAL CHOICES

• The TV-cut out effect when he falls into the pit

• THE DETAIL IN THE COLOURING

• the CGI on the trash beasts actually looks great from that tiny bit we see

• AND THEY SOUND SO FUCKING CRAZY TERRIFYING LIKE WHAT

• the scribbley stylistic when he falls also

• they actually put so much love and detail into the animation

I CANT WAIT TO SEE THE OPENING AND ENDING NEXT WEEK

Can't wait to see all my faves animated I love this series more than words can explain

im currently watching gachiakuta and its trashpunk aesthetic and magic system are so fascinating (⁠๑⁠♡⁠⌓⁠♡⁠๑⁠)

also rudo and regto highkey reminds me of senku and byakuya...

Received a box of "trash" laptops last year because "your into computer stuff right?" and we have been fixing them up so we can get some working computers into the hands of the local community, instead of the garbage pile. Only had two that weren't functional. Those were broken down for parts, and the other ones got wipes, new operating systems, and put on listing's for the local community.

one of the "trash" laptops this week, an old 32bit Dell, found a new home with a local 🇮🇳 Indian couple. Despite the language barrier, using Google translate, we managed to get their new accounts set up. And walked them through how to use it. This wouldn't have been possible without translation technologies. They love their computer, and Im happy to have made some new friend's. All because someone decided to hand us a box of "trash".

Dear friends and strangers!  During the last weeks of summer (or, what would have been the last weeks of summer, if the climate wasn’t a-changing), my friend Fine and I sat in a studio to record the audio-material for our very first fiction-podcast!

It is set after the end of the world as we know it and follows a lonely radio-host of a former (ship-based) pirate-radio-station, adrift on the ocean, accompanied only by her pet raccoon, broadcasting in the hopes that she is not the last human being on this earth.  Thus far we have recorded one season of six episodes which will launch within the next few months.

Today we are happy to announce, that the first Episode is now online!
