you know now that i'm out of the torment nexus it really wasn't so bad. i think the sleep deprivation was just making me dramatic.
Notes about my first ever U.S. roadtrip
We started our road trip last Friday at around 5:30PM. I thought it was an insane idea to take an 18-hour drive after a long week at work, but my husband was excited about it. I am soooo glad I didn't let anxiety speak louder and got in that car.
at the steps of the Cascada monumental in Barcelona, several couples are dancing tango right now. it is around noon on a saturday. it looks spontaneous. someone has a lively tune on a bluetooth speaker. the dancing couples all laughing, twirling their partner around, looking like genuinely enjoying the moment. they know all the steps and everything. in the surrounding space, a lot of families having a nice time together often with their dogs. all of it brought me to tears. this kind of life is possible. it’s not mine, i’m just a spectator. a tourist. a tourist crying into an iphone, sitting on a stone seat. i feel so privileged to have witnessed this moment of happiness and peace. and oh god, this dog is a star. people are throwing the bouncy ball for the dog to chase and play with. it’s going on for like half an hour and the dog looks not at all tired. probably one of the happiest dog in the world right now.

[Napoleon's 255th birthday celebration comic book | "His light Still shines on our Way"]
The content of the cartoon is not made up, but is based on real conversations during the viewing of the exhibition. After seeing the exhibition "Meet Napoleon: The Disappeared Palace", I was deeply touched and immediately wanted to draw travelogues, but travelogues were a new attempt for me, so I felt hesitant, but I still completed the small cartoon by the opportunity of congratcongratum😉
