Violet was in a toxic relationship with her ex Travis Carter for a couple years before she started working as Zach’s assistant and moved in with him, leading to their romantic relationship starting shortly thereafter.
While in this bad relationship with Travis, Violet endured abuse and mistreatment of all kinds. Travis made her feel so insignificant and insecure, and all the while she held on to the hope that Zach (who’d been in a relationship with Gourmand at the time) would eventually come to her rescue, be her “knight in shining armor.”
While she was faithful to Travis, Violet would defy him at times in an attempt to reclaim her voice. And she does so through song.
